It appears that there are still complications from the server transfer. I am still working with Itasca.net to get everything straightened out, and they are doing a great deal of work to help. I am very happy with their support over the years in general, and in this problem specifically.
In order to fix the problem, we are changing some of the core portions of the site. It will take a few days, but we will be back up and running soon. I am hoping everything will be ready by Monday Dec 28th, but it might take until the new year with the holidays. Please stick with us, and we will be back up and running with new comics as soon as I can.

Updating Problems
Uh oh. So it appears that the server change has caused some problems.
I can not seem to get the comic to update properly, even manually.
I will fix this as soon as possible, and will keep you all updated as soon as I know more.

Server Move Update
I have just been informed that the move to the new server will be happening in the next few days. So if there is an interruption in the ability to get to the site, don't worry it will not last long.
If everything goes according to plan there should be little if no interruption at all.

Moving Servers
So I have just been informed that the Server that Everyday Gods is on will be shutting down, however the provider we go through will be moving us to a new server. This may cause a break in connectivity to the site at some point this month. So if you try to read us, and can not find us, don't worry we'll be back as soon as possible, I will keep you updated.

Black Friday
It's the most dreaded day in retail today.....
It brings memories of working at Toys R Us during this festive season.....
And I realize why I am warped enough to come up with some of these jokes.
Even with these memories of Horror, I find that I am part of a Black Friday Sale again.
Mohr Creations is having a Black Friday Sale and Open house. 30% - 65% off everything.
This includes Everyday Gods books, and special orders.
If you have time today come and see us, we will be open until 6:00pm on the 27th at:
601 Palace Ave
St. Paul, MN 55102
There will be Cookies....

Happy Halloween Plus
First of all... HAPPY HALLOWEEN to you all.
Second, the update gremlins have all been beaten soundly and should stay away from the strip for now, so the comic will be updating correctly again.
For the lack of two comics last week, and Halloween, I give you this special panel.

Problems with Updates
Hey all,
It has just been pointed out to me that the comic has not updated since Monday.
Unfortunately I am at my day Job at the moment, but will look into it as soon as I can.
Hopefully I will have fixed and updated by this evening.
I blame Loki personally.

Past and Future
Last weekend, Jules and I were at Icon 34. It was very fun to see people that we knew and to meet new and interesting people. We met Zombie King, who was selling a lot of... well zombie stuff, including stress brains and zombie rubber duckies.
It was also a lot of fun to hear peoples reactions to "Examinate! Examinate!" a drawing of the Dalek and Anton panel from the comic. I will be posting the picture for sale, as well as prints soon.
Now for the future.
Starting tomorrow, October 27th (Which also happens to be my birthday... send gifts) there will be a new web comic starting called "World Wide News". It is a fun comic that is based around the worlds worst Cable News station. It is written by Cory!! Strode, and drawn by me. The art style is a bit different than "Everyday Gods" but still a great deal of fun to draw. The humor is based more on current events then "Everyday Gods tends to be, and a little less slap stick then I tend to write, but it is hoot all the same.
Check it out at: www.worldwidenews.solitairerose.com
And don't worry, "Everyday Gods" will still be produced right along side this new strip. Well not right next to, more like in the file next door.

Fall Con 2009
So last weekend was Fall Con in St. Paul.
It was a great deal of fun.
Not only was I advertising Everyday Gods, I released a mini comic of the up coming web comic "World Wide News". This is a comic written by Cory!! Strode, and drawn by one of the greatest artists to ever work on Everyday Gods. Yup me. :) It will be starting on October 27th of this year, which is also my birthday, hint hint. If you would like to take a look at the site, or bookmark it for it's grand opening the web site is: http://www.worldwidenews.solitairerose.com/
It was great to see faces of people I knew, and learn the new faces of people that read the comic that I had not met before, and meet new potential readers as well. Thanks to all of you who stopped by the booth to say hi, or to meet a new creator.
I was also able to talk to some of the Guests of Honor which was a real treat. Janet Gilbert (who works on Disney Comics for distribution in the UK) was a great deal of fun to talk to. And Saturday night I was taken to the cleaners in a poker game. (So anyone want to loan me a couple of bucks until pay day. ;) )
On Sunday night I returned home thinking Fall Con was over, but only to have a fall con of my own. It seems my clumsy gene kicked into overtime. I had many mishaps, however the two major ones where falling down the stairs, and then falling through a shelving unit. Yes through. I put a long gash in my leg, a small cut in my arm, and a bruise on my chest. It was not fun. Unfortunately this is why there was no Monday comic, as I was not exactly in a position to draw. Don't worry I don't plan on repeating that night anytime soon.

Harry Potter's Future
So I look at the fact that in just a few years we will be at the end of the Harry Potter movie franchise. But then I start to wonder.... when has Hollywood ever let something end when it should. Will we get more Harry Potter stories that were not penned by Rowling? Most likely not for a while, but I am a bit worried that in ten years or so we will get something like:
Harry Potter and the Lost Stories.

Vacation
So last weekend I was given an amazing gift from my boss (from my day job), Jules and I were sent out to Vegas for our 2nd anniversary. We had a wonderful and relaxing time.
While there, we visited Lisa, who had "guest-starred" in the comic when Jules and I went out to get married last time. (This Comic).
I was surprised that Lisa remembered us. We had brought her a poster sized copy of the comic that she had appeared in, and she loved it. She had not actually seen the comic until that point, and she was shocked to find out that she is also in the book that has been published.
As for stories involving guest appearances, I loved what happened at CONvergence earlier this month. Anton, (the winner of the SuperCon guest appearance) approached me and notified me that he was going to "Kill me".
I asked why, and he explained that three people he did not know came up to him during the convention and asked him "Hey aren't you the guy that got anal probed in that web comic?"
That was great to hear.
And for the record, Anton is a great guy, and loved the joke.
Also, for anyone actually wondering, no the story of his abduction was not based on a true story.

CONvergence and OSFest
So CONvergence was a great deal of fun.
All of the panels that I was part of went well, as far as I could tell.
I look forward to next year, and we have decided that we have to make sure to do the room party again. That's right Wonka's Night Out will return in 2010. (Wonka in Space)
If you have experienced the party in the past, and would like to help out with next years party (Time or money donations) please let me know.
Next weekend is OSFest. The Omaha Science Fiction Convention.
Yup, Nebraska her I come.
Jules and I will be in the Venders room, if you would like to come and stop by.
I will have copies of the first book with me if you still want one.
Hope to see people there.

Stuff - I need to work on my titles
First happy birthday to my lovely wife.
(Her birthday was Monday 6/29)
You have transformed my life for the better.
Second, this weekend I will be at CONvergence in Bloomington MN.
It is a Sci-Fi convention that is a great amount of fun. I usually run a party there, but this year we just were not able to do it. However I will be participating in some panels, and will be doing personalized drawings in the artists alley.
Panels:
MI6 Declassified: Quantum of Solace (Talking Bond) Thursday 10:00pm
When is a Stick Figure Enough? (Talking Webcomics) Friday 12:30pm
Sandman at 20 (Talking Neil Gaiman's Sandman) Saturday 9:30am
Artist Alley
I will be in the artists alley on Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Stop by and say hi.)
I will also be in the dealers room a lot at the Mohr Creations table. (Also stop and say hi.)
And third, it seems there was a burp in the updater.
It's fixed now.

Question for the readers
I have been getting requests to try and size the page so that people would not need to use the horizontal scroll bar in order to see the entire comic. I think I have fixed that problem, however I can only check it on a few computers. So, is anyone still having that issue?
I fixed this by resizing the comic itself, I am sure there is some sort of HTML code that I could add that would size the page to the computer that is viewing it, but I do not know what that code is. If someone does know, I would appreciate any help.
Anyway, we are now back on line.

Cons, Cons, and More Cons
So last weekend was Wiscon 09.
This was the first time I had been to this particular convention, which is held in Madison WI.
Jules and I were vendors, in there dealers room, which is fun as we get to meet a lot of people.
During the evening parties we were given an opportunity to create Sock Puppets. I created Count Sockula, who will most likely be making it into the comic now. I had him help in the dealers room for a while on the last day.
I also go to experience a, Bacon Martini. Surprisingly better than it sounds.
I also have found out that I will be on some panels at CONvergence this year, I will send off more details when we get closer to that date.
And now something you can all help me with.
I am a finalist in the Ultimate Transformer Fan Contest, which is in the public voting stage.
If you would go to www.etonline.com/transformers and vote for me, I would love the help.
I am the guy wearing the Top Hat in their video. (Having forgotten to state my name in the video itself.) If you want more proof that I am an ultimate Transformer fan, e-mail any trivia question, or questions about how Transformers is infused with my life to everydaygods@gmail.com. You can vote once a day until June 10th.
Thanks

Back from Demicon 09
So last weekend was Demicon, which was a lot of fun.
Again I wasn't a Guest of Honor or anything, but one day.... one day.
Jules (My Wife) and I were out there in the dealers room, and we got to meet a lot of new people, and see friends we don't get to see a lot.

Okay this is totally my fault
As you may have noticed, Monday's comic is not up yet.
This is my fault. I was had drawn the comic late last night and in my exhausted state I accidentally deleted the file instead of saving it.
So I will redraw it tonight and post it Tuesday instead.
(And I will do it earlier in the evening so I realize what I am doing.)

Oops
So I have to say I am sorry about there being no update on Friday.
There I was all prepared for the Convention this weekend, except that I forgot to update the comic which I usually do Thursday evening.... and it is very hard to update a comic while behind the wheel of a car on a four our drive. (I tried it once, and the nice police advised me against using my computer even if I have cruise control.)
So we will be back on track on Monday.

Oddcon 2009
So this weekend I will be at Oddcon in Madison WI.
This will be my first time at this particular convention.
No I am not a Guest of Honor, though Emma Bull will be, and that is a good thing.
I will be in the dealers room and will have copies of the new book with me.
So if you will be at Oddcon this weekend, stop by the Mohr Creations table in the dealers room and say hi.

New Feature
Alright so new news.
1) The book release party went really well. Thank you to everyone that came and made it a success. It meant a lot to see so many people come to support me in this endeavor.
2) This new blog. I am adding this as a better way to update news, and give people the option of commenting on News. However at this point to do so, you will need to join Blogger. I hope to eventually have my own blog attached. However I have no idea how to do that. This was the best I could do. So I am officially admitting I don't know how to do this. (Hopefully yet) So if there is anyone out there that would be willing to donate time to show me how, or help me set one up, I would appreciate it a great deal.
